School + Group Visits

Ready to think, play and create?

The New Children’s Museum offers both in-person and virtual tours for schools and other groups from pre-kindergarten through high school. Registration for 2022-2023 school visits is now open!

NOTE: Drop-in group visits of 10 or more people during the summer months are accommodated based on Museum capacity and activities. 

 All school and group visits to the Museum include: 

  • Participatory, hands-on experiences that encourage inquiry-based learning inspired by the Museum’s art installations.
  • Interdisciplinary applications in the classroom of the following subjects: visual arts, reading, writing, social studies and science. 
  • Grade level, age-appropriate and standards-aligned activities.
  • Option to participate in a studio art project led by our trained Teaching Artists (for in-person visits only).
