Extend classroom learning at the Museum!

The Museum offers in-person school visit tours for classroom grades pre-kindergarten to high school. Through our tours, students will participate in hands-on experiences that encourage inquiry-based learning inspired by the Museum’s art installations. Choose between our self-guided or guided tour options below!

Tour Options

Self-Guided Museum Tour
  • 2-hour self-guided experience of Museum installations
  • $10 per student
  • Free for teachers, school staff and required chaperones (chaperone to student ratio – 1:5)
  • Additional chaperones: $5 each
  • Free for Title 1 and Head Start groups
Guided Museum Tour + Studio Art Activity
  • 1-hour guided experience of Museum installations + 1-hour of art-making*
  • $14 per student
  • Free for teachers, school staff and required chaperones (chaperone to student ratio – 1:7)
  • Up to 2 additional chaperones for Head Start groups and kindergarten classes only: $5 each**
  • Free for Title 1 and Head Start groups

*Pre-K and Kindergarten visits include a 1.5-hour guided Museum experience and 30-minute art-making workshop. 

**No additional chaperones for other grades.

School and group visits are designed to accommodate 10 to 50 students per group. Visits are offered Monday and Thursday mornings between 10am and 12pm. School visit requests must be submitted at least 4 weeks in advance. Due to the high demand for this program, not all tour requests can be accommodated.
