exploring the museum
The Museum believes all children should have access to art and the creative process, regardless of age, ability, gender, socioeconomic status or other life situation. We strive to make our interactive art installations, programs and public areas as inclusive and accessible as possible for all our visitors. To meet this goal, we work as a team and in collaboration with the artists we commission for our projects. Our staff is trained to engage children and families of all abilities and are ready to assist you during your visit.
Digital Sensory Guide
This digital Sensory Guide was created in collaboration with Sensory Friendly San Diego. It includes 3-D tours, audio clips, visual guides and social prompts that will support neurodiverse communities and all visitors in navigating the Museum and preparing for their visit. We invite you to explore the guide by clicking on the hot spots to learn more about specific locations in the Museum, listen to sound clips and watch the videos that are included.
Our Museum aims to ensure that your entire visit will be comfortable, convenient, educational and fun! We are able to provide other reasonable accommodations with advance notice. If you have further questions, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
